you will remain forever young – ogun youths eulogise afuape on birthday anniversary

The State leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria on May 21st, 2020, led the entire youths of Ogun State to felicitate with Hon. Afolabi Afuape on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.

In a Congratulatory Message signed by the State Secretary, Akolawole Shoremi, the State leadership led by Com. Abdul-Jabar Ayelaagbe expressed the goodwill message of the entire youths to the immediate past Commissioner for Youth & Sports in Ogun State.

The message reads in part,

“In celebration of your birthday anniversary, the youth constituency reflects on the wonderful memories of your profound love, support, and continued mentorship to youth development in Ogun state.

“It gladdens us, as of today, that your decades of struggle to influence positively each individual and network, at a time, has turned you a Mentor to many; we therefore pray that the good Lord continues to make you relevant beyond the yearnings of your admirers and expectations of your adversaries.

“We wish you fruitful adventures on your new age as we are confident that you will remain young forever.”

There were encomiums from stakeholders of the youth constituency including that of the Commissioner of Youth & Sports, Dr. Oluwadare Kehinde; Deputy Chief Whip for Ogun State House of Assembly who doubles as the Chairman of House Committee on Youth, Sports, and Employment Generation, Hon. Shola Adams; the Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth Empowerment & Job Creation, Mr. Lekan Olude; the Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth & Sports, Com. Olamide Lawal; and the former State Chairman of the Council, Com. (Prince) Adeleke Adebajo.

Hon. Afolabi Afuape is the present Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Ogun State.
