In recognition of the effective legislative representation of his people, the youth leadership of Obafemi Owode Local Government has acknowledged and commended the service delivery of Hon. Damilola Soneye representing Obafemi Owode State Constituency.

At an award presentation made as a mark of recognition, according to the leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Obafemi Owode Branch, was to celebrate the qualitative and outstanding representation of Soneye being a voice whose passion for youth development and his people remains admirable.

The award presentation made at the Ogun State House of Assembly Office Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, on Wednesday 1st July, 2020, was well received by the Honourable who appreciated the youth leadership for identifying and reckoning with him in discharge of his public service.

“I am most delighted to be honoured by the youth leadership of my constituency. It is one thing to be diligent, and another to be duly recognized. Please take my words for a relentless service to the people of Obafemi Owode Local Government, and the youth constituency in particular,” Soneye said.

The Youth Coordinator of the Local Government, Com. Oluwemimo Benjamin, reacting to the beneficiary’s address reiterated the continuous support of the youths for an improved service delivery towards promoting the welfare of the constituents.
