ogun tescom honours nycn ogun waterside with award of excellence on education

The Ogun Waterside branch of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has been honoured by the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Ogun Waterside Zonal Office, for her contributions to the development of education in Ogun Waterside Local Government.

The honorary award was received by the Youth Leader of the Local Government, Com. Taiwo Olufowobi, ably represented by the Assistant General Secretary of the Youth Council, Comrade Anthony, at an education summit held in Abigi on Wednesday, December 2, 2020.

Comrade Olufowobi thanked TESCOM for the award noting that NYCN Ogun Waterside will continue to contribute to the development of education and put smile in the face of the good people of Ogun Waterside. “We appreciate this award. It will motivate us to contribute more to the development of Ogun Waterside.

“On behalf of the Council's leadership, I dedicate this award to the progressive youths of Ogun Waterside and our indefatigable Sponsors,” he added.

Olufowobi further called on Watersiders, the Government and Corporate organisations to continue support the Youth Council in order to achieve more of her lofty projects for the collective benefit of the society.
