“I am pleased to convey the assurance of our dear Commissioner of Police, CP Edward Ajogun, to explore all tactics to continue ensure Ogun State remains safe by God’s grace.  As obtainable by security reports, it is imperative to commend the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, on the motivations he has been giving to our Security Chiefs on behalf of us all.

“An instance of Governor Abiodun’s motivation to the Police resulted to the arrest of the suspected herdsmen that attacked a woman at Ijebu Ode recently. In good faith, these suspects shall be made to face the law soon.

“We are also using this opportunity to charge our youth leaders across the state to further sensitize our people on the non-negotiable need to stay away from crime, to live as one, and to continue provide timely and useful information on suspicious individuals and events that may disturb the peace of our communities,” Ayelaagbe said.

The meeting was held at the State Headquarters, Eleweran. In attendance were other ranking officers of the Police Force and the State Executives of the Youth Council. The meeting which lasted for a few hours enabled a robust deliberation between the leadership of the youths and the Police Force.
