ogun community honours world bank’s csdp board member, adebajo, with award of excellence on community development

A board member for a World Bank initiative – Community and Social Development Project (CSDP) – in Ogun State, Prince Adeleke Adebajo, on Saturday January 30, 2021, bagged an Award of Excellence in community development.

The event held by Akorede Estate Community Development Association, a largely dominated community in Abeokuta North Local Government Area of Ogun State, which witnessed the commissioning of a Bridge and Electrification projects, was in celebration of communal achievements for the year 2020.

Receiving the award in honour of his contributions to community development in Ogun State, Adebajo, the immediate past Youth Leader of Ogun State commended the Community Development Association for the brilliant efforts made in the year past towards bringing comfort to the residents of Akorede Estate.

According to Adebajo, the Chairman of the CDA, Com. Adebare Ariyibi is a trusted and tested Leader whose passion for community development remains admirable. “I am pleased at the accomplishments of this present leadership of your community. While you can be assured of my continued support to your future endeavors, I wish you more grace for a successful ending,” Adebajo said.

The award presentation was made by the Zonal Chairman of Abeokuta North CDC, Com. Kazeem Ajagunjeun, who appreciated Adebajo for his unusual love to community participation and upliftment across Ogun State.

Among other award recipient is Com. Emmanuel Ojo, the Youth Leader for Abeokuta North Local Government in Ogun State.
