remo north youth leadership visits odunsi

On 31st August, 2021, I led the Youth Council Members and Executives to the office of the new Executive Chairman of Remo North LGA on a familiarization and courtesy visit.

The Executive Chairman, Hon. Prince Adedapo Odunsi, was glad to receive the youths and showed enthusiasm all through the discussion. The Vice Chairman, Hon. Waidi Abdul Sopelola was also present to meet with the youths. Among other local government teams at the meeting were Director of Community Development and Employment Generation; Mrs. Dolapo Ayannusi, other members of her department, and the media team of the chairman.

After the introduction of both LEC members, affiliates and theirs, as well as the National Youth Council of Nigeria to the chairman, I was able to table the needs of the Youth Council and general youths which will enhance our activities, and equally build the youths indeed to the chairman. Also, promised him the readiness of the Youth Council to work closely with his administration.

We also informed the Executive Chairman of his position as the only Official Patron of the Youth Council.

His responses were more of advice and caution for the Youth Council leadership, and of fatherly guides to ensure a greater future for us. Equally, he gave his words of encouragement, commitments to the plight of the youths for all round development.

This is indeed a new dawn for the people of Remo North LGA.
