ogun waterside youth leadership visits mudashiru

On September 1, 2021, I led the leadership and stakeholders of apex youth Organization in Ogun Waterside Local Government, the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Ogun Waterside branch on a courtesy visit to the Chairman, vice-Chairman and the leaders of the Legislative Council.

We discussed critical issues concerning youth development and how youth council can synergize with the local for the benefit of the youth of the local government. I highlighted some of the achievements of youth council and our next programmes for the youth of the Local Government. I also advised the Chairman to rescucitate the moribund two skill acquisition centers at Abigi and Ilushin in order to reduce the rate of unemployment in Ogun Waterside with emphasis on the importance of youth employment/empowerment as panacea to insecurity, poverty and social vices in the Local Government.

The Chairman, Hon. Adekunle Abdulateef Mudashiru  pledged his support for the Youth Council. He promised to sponsor some of our programmes.

The vice-Chairman, Princess Abioye Phillips  appreciates the contribution of Nycn Ogun Waterside to the development of Ogun Waterside. She also pledged to support the programmes of the youth council.

The Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon Ajayi Oke Felix thanked the youth council for the good job the organization is doing in the Local Government and urged NYCN Ogun Waterside to extend its good gesture to his ward, Ode-Omi.
