2021 pan-african youth union election: ogun youth congratulates oladele nihi

The youth leadership of Ogun State has extended a congratulatory message to the newly elected Vice President (West Africa) of the Pan-African Youth Union, Com. Oladele Nihi.

In a letter dated November 17, 2021 and signed,  on behalf of the entire youths of Ogun State, by the State Chairman of the Youth Council; Com. Abdul-Jabar Ayelaagbe eulogized the virtues of Nihi as a committed and resilient youth whose love and patriotism for Nigeria remains enviable.

The letter reads in part,

“I have the directive of our Youths to offer our sincere congratulations upon assumption of your new responsibilities to our dear continent. It is our prayers that this opportunity to serve brings you wonderful memories of your name in gold.

“In anticipation of an unbridled relationship with your leadership, please be assured of our solidarity at all times.”

The election held in Niamey, Niger Republic between November 15-16, 2021, witnessed Nihi defeated his closest rival from Senegal to become elected as the Youth Leader of the entire West African subregion where he is expected, with other continental Executive members, to pilot the affairs of youths in Africa for the next three years.

The Nigerian youth delegation to the elective congress was led by the National President of the Youth Council, Amb. Sokubo Sara-Igbe Sokubo.
