The Commissioner for Youth & Sports, Dr. Oluwadare Kehinde, has urged the State Command of the Man O’War Nigeria to continue uphold the discipline and core moral values the organization is globally known for.

Kehinde, ably represented by the State Chairman of the Youth Council — Com. Abdul-Jabar Ayelaagbe, lauded the organization at the Grand Finale of the Command’s 3-Day Youth Empowerment Programme of the organization held at the African Church Grammar School, Abeokuta, today Saturday March 5, 2022.

In his goodwill message, Kehinde acknowledged the relevance of the Man O’ War to community building, particularly in the deployment of her men to every NYSC Orientation Camp across the country.

“Distinguished fellow young ones, I congratulate you on the success of this camp. I urge you to continue uphold the virtues of Man O’ War Nigeria. In line with the vision of this noble organization, let me reiterate the commitment of His Excellency, Prince (Dr.) Dapo Abiodun, to building our communities.

“It’s high time we double our efforts to restore our societal values. And I am confident that together, we all can accomplish great things,” Kehinde said.

The Ag. State Commandant of  Man O’ War Nigeria, Commander John T. Taiwo, in his appreciation message, acknowledged the support of the State Government via the Ministry of Youth & Sports and the National Youth Council of Nigeria.

The event also had in attendance the Commissioner of Police, the Brigade Commander of the 35 Artillery Brigade of Nigerian Army, Alamala Barracks, the State Commander of So—Safe Corps, and other eminent personalities.
