The Youth Wing of the Nasrul-Lahi-Il-Fathi Society (NASFAT) in Ogun State has been applauded as a group of outstanding young individuals making positive impacts in the development of the youth constituency across Ogun State.
The commendation was made in the welcome address of the State Chairman of the Youth Council, Com. Abdul-Jabar Ayelaagbe, while receiving the leadership of the NASFAT Youth Wing on a Courtesy Visit held yesterday, May 12, 2022, at Ogun Youth House, MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta.
The Coordinator of the NASFAT Youth Wing, Com. Tajudeen Akinyemi, who stated the visitation is in line with the duties of the Youth Wing to continue associate and promote sound leadership among its youths, assured the Youth Council of an unwavering support at all times. Akinyemi who acknowledged the several youth intervention programmes of the youth leadership prayed for more divine grace for the ninth State Executive Council to continue surpass positive expectations.
Ayelaagbe in his address eulogized the activeness and resilience of NASFAT Youths for their exemplary discharge of selfless services, willingness to serve, commitment to humanity, and good disposition to religious tolerance.
“With special reference to the known qualities of the Coordinator of the NASFAT Youth Wing and the amazing leadership of your representatives at the Youth Council, I must appreciate the moral values instilled in you all at NASFAT.
“Like I continue charge our young fellows, may I also urge us to ensure that our constitutional responsibilities at these forthcoming elections are carried out. It is our right to not only register to vote but to ensure that we vote and that are votes are counted.
“We owe our society this civic responsibility as one of our contributions to good governance,” Ayelaagbe said.
In an appreciation remark to the youth leadership, the State Public Relation Secretary for the NASFAT Youth Wing, Com. Olaide Ayinla, extolled the participation and youthful representation of Com. Abdul-Jabar Ayelaagbe in the EndSARS panel set up by Ogun State Government. “Your contributions to promote justice and fairness, particularly in the interest of our younger ones do not go unnoticed,” he said.
Also present at the meeting were the State Secretary for the Youth Council, Oloye Akolawole Shoremi; the State Organizing Secretary of Ogun West, Com. Kehinde Damilola; the State Director for Affiliation and Revalidation, Com. Yunus Fayomi; State Financial Secretary of NASFAT Youth Wing, Com. Maruf Olanlokun and other respected persons.
