The Gubernatorial Candidates of Alliance for Democracy, African Action Congress, Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party, and Peoples Party of Nigeria on January 30th,  2019, signed a Gubernatorial Pact with the State's Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria.

This activity was observed in commemoration of the 2019 Gubernatorial Interactive Session organized by the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ogun State chapter. In a brief made by the Program Coordinator, Comrade Akolawole Shoremi, the Gubernatorial Pact is a list of assertions requesting for youths' inclusion in governance on assumption of office by any of the Gubernatorial Candidate. Akolawole further expressed the Pact, though non-mandatory, as a prerequisite for any Gubernatorial Candidate seeking the support of the Council.

The Candidates took turn to append their signatures as a show of readiness to run a government of the youths if elected by the majority of voters.

Mr. Ademola Ogunbanjo of Alliance for New Nigeria, who was unavoidably absent at the Interactive Session, having made an appeal to the Council, also signed the Pact a day after the event which was held at the Youth Development Center, Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta.
