ogun stakeholders meet on citizens priorities and solutions engagement


The Civil Society Coalition on Sustainable Development (CSCSD) organized a Stakeholders' meeting on citizens priorities and solution engagements. 

The event hosted at the Park Inn by Radisson Hotel, Kuto, Abeokuta, was held on May 27, 2019.

In his welcome address, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, CSCSD, Rev. Fr. Patrick Ngoyi, appreciated all stakeholders in attendance. He stated the meeting as a necessity to have an overview of the incoming administration developmental agenda on health, agriculture, youth development, security, etc. 

Representing the youths of Ogun state, the Chairman of Ogun Youth Council, Com. (Prince) Adeleke Adebajo, demanded a synergy between the state government and the Youths through the Council. Adebajo explained the need for a Youth House, and Youth Trust Fund, among others, to facilitate empowerment and employability of the teeming youths of Ogun state. 

In attendance were major stakeholders from different sectors including Community Development Committee, Media, Labour Congress, Trade Unions, etc. 

The resolution of the Stakeholders is expected to be presented to the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, to support efforts of the new administration on good governance.
