we are committed to the leadership of the 10th executive council – ogun central leaders
Communique issued at the end of the meeting of Ogun Central Stakeholder’s Meeting held today Nov. 7, 2019, at Ogun Youth House, MKO Abiola International Stadium, Abeokuta.
The Leaders of Ogun Central Senatorial District of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ogun State chapter, at a Stakeholder’s meeting led by the immediate past Vice-Chairman of Ogun Central, Com. Sunday Ogunjimi, has vouched their unflinching support to the leadership of the current Executive Council.
The leadership wishes to make public the resolution of the meeting as follows:
1. That the process of the Nov. 2nd election, as witnessed by all stakeholders, is democratic, free, and credible.
2. That we dissociate the leadership of Ogun Central from the position of the immediate past Deputy Chairman, Com. AbdulAzeez Adegbite, on his rejection of the election, which he earlier congratulated the Winners himself.
3. That we express our displeasure at the unruly behavior of Olanrewaju Mosaku for dishonoring the Council by associating with students and student’s associations to discredit the image of the Council. We wish to enlighten Olanrewaju Mosaku and his cohort that neither the National Association of Nigerian Students nor the National Association of Ogun State Students is a member of the prestigious Youth Council as the Council does not affiliate Student’s bodies.
4. That we Leaders of Ogun Central hereby advise all aggrieved members to exercise their right to petition via the available channel in lieu of smearing the image of the Council, which they are expected to protect.
5. That we Leaders of Ogun Central are satisfied with the outcome of the election and vouch to commit all available resources to support the new leadership of Com. AbdulJabar Ayelagbe.
6. So help us God.
