eid-el-maulud: ogun youth council chairman calls for sustained prayer for peace, unity, and progress
As Muslim faithful commemorate this year’s Eid-el-Maulud, the Ogun State Chairman of National Youth council of Nigeria, Com. Abdul-Jabar Ayelage, has called on the Youth of Ogun State to remain prayerful for the sustenance of peace, unity and progress of the Country.
In his goodwill message, Com. Ayelagbe, while felicitating with Muslim Faithfuls enjoined the youth and the general public to always reflect on significance of this holy day which demonstrates virtues, character, loyalty to good cause, and to imbibe honest virtue as notable of the little boy Muhammad, which eventually made accepted as a Leader among his contemporaries and old folks even before the divine call of prophethood.
Ayelagbe further urged the youth constituency to always exhibit the virtues of tolerance, peaceful coexistence, commitment to good cause, sacrifice, love and charity to strengthen brotherhood as encouraged by the deeds and teachings of the holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW). According to Ayelagbe, “a collective faith in God, inculcation of the virtues of the holy Prophet, and sustained prayers for peace and unity of the country, are needful towards attaining our nation of choice.”
He admonished the Youth to remain steadfast in religious engagements as they joyously celebrate the birth of the Prophet across the state.
