The Deputy Chief Whip of Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Isaac Adams, who also chairs the House Committee on Youth, Sports, and Employment Generation played host to the leadership of Ogun State Youth at the Assembly Complex on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019. Hon. Isaac Adams, representing Ijebu East Constituency, who received the youth delegation at his office, congratulated the new Executives of the State on the recently held election while expressing his confidence in the reputation of the National Youth Council of Nigeria.
In his address, Com. Abdul-Jabar Ayelagbe, the State Youth Chairman, commended the leadership of Ogun State House of Assembly on the patriotic services offered to the state since assumption of office. Ayelagbe, speaking on behalf of the Youth, declared total confidence in the Governor of the State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, as one on a mission to positively influence the collective fate of the Youth. He further appreciated the Deputy Chief Whip for his notable contributions to the youthful community prior to his election and afterwards.
Complementing Ayelagbe’s position, the State Secretary of the Council, Akolawole Shoremi, also applauded the Deputy Chief Whip on his continuous and un-dwindling interest in the capacity building of the Youth. According to the Secretary, there is a reinvigorated effort, from both the government and the Youth Council's ends, to facilitate means of self-sustainability for an average Youth in the state.
The working document of the new leadership of the Youth, the Progressive Roadmap, was officially presented to the Deputy Chief Whip who assured the delegation of his resolve to continue give due and necessary support to the Youth constituency at all times.
