adebajo wins nomination for award of youth ambassador

The Ondo State Youth Council will honor the immediate past Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Southwest, Com. (Prince) Adeleke Adebajo as a Youth Ambassador at its forthcoming State Honors’ Award event.

Adebajo, a seasoned Administrator, is a committed and experienced Youth Mobilizer who has served the Nigerian Youth in different capacities via several platforms. In the build-up to the 2019 elections, Adebajo was one of the key advocators of the #NotTooYoungToRun campaign.

The Owu-Oldolowu-Ijebu Prince has promoted different programs to drive youth inclusion in governance, some of which are International Youth Day Events, Gubernatorial Interactive Forum, Youth Mentorship programs, Entrepreneurship, and a few others. Adebajo in his previous capacity as the Youth Chairman for Ogun State maintains different Board positions including the Nigerian Export Promotion Commission, Ogun State Drug Control Committee, and Ogun State Community Social Development Agency – a World Bank project.

Adebajo, while serving as the Chairman of Chairmen for the Southwest region of the Youth Council, has contributed to youth development across all states in Southwest, Nigeria. He has won several awards including the ‘The 21st Century Youth Reformer’ awarded by an ethical and attitudinal reorientation movement, National Youth Reform.

Alongside other awardees, Adebajo will be honored as a Youth Ambassador on December 12, 2019, at the State Honors’ Award to be held in Akure, Ondo State.
