abiodun’s government will promote programmes, projects that will enhance rural development - oludotun

The Commissioner for Rural Development in Ogun State, Engr. Taiwo Oludotun, on February 12, 2020, gave an assurance that Ogun State Government will continue to promote programmes and projects that will enhance rural development in the state.

Engr. Oludotun gave this hint during a Courtesy Visit made by the Executives of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Abeokuta North Branch, in his office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

The Commissioner said his appointment as a cabinet member of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun and the continued support of the youths will spur him into facilitating programmes and projects that will have positive impact on the socioeconomic well-being of the people.

In his remark, the State Secretary of the Council, Comrade Akolawole Shoremi, who led the delegation, applauded the Commissioner for acknowledging the importance of youth capacity-building. He also enumerated the purpose of the visit, which is to express the Council's solidarity for his tenure and to request that the youths of his constituency is well carried along in his programmes via the Local Government branch of the Council led by Com. Emmanuel Ojo.

Engr. Oludotun appreciated the leadership of the Council for the visit as he promised his support to the Youth Council on programmes that will have meaningful impacts on the youths of the state.
