covid-19: national youth council of nigeria, abeokuta north lg branch, distributes relief packages to vulnerable youths.

The leadership of Abeokuta North LG Branch of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), as  part of its efforts to ensure that Youths are adequately provided for, has distributed palliative packages to 100 vulnerable Youths from communities across Abeokuta North Local Government.

Part of the palliative packages which was donated to the Council by the State Government, was complimented by Oluseyi Bisiriyu Foundation in order to serves as relief to vulnerable Youths during the Covid-19 lockdown period currently being witnessed in the state.

Presenting a palliative package to one of the beneficiaries, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Youths and Sports Affairs, Comrade Olamide Lawal, who doubles as a member of Abeokuta North Branch of the Youth Council, appreciated the efforts of the leadership of the Council at ensuring that Youths under its watch are adequately catered for.

Comrade Lawal expressed delight at the judicious distribution of the package given by the Government that it was able to reach the target audience. He further enjoined the Leaders of the Council not to relent on their efforts at ensuring the general well being of its Youths is continuously being looked after.

The State Chairman of the Council, Comrade Abdul-Jabar Ayelaagbe also expressed his profound gratitude to the Special Assistant to the Governor for his relentless efforts on the growth of the Council, particularly  for his presence at the  distribution of the palliative packages.

Comrade Ayelaagbe declared His satisfaction on all the activities of the Council at the local government branch meantime urging the Executives to keep the flag flying.

Earlier, the General Secretary to the Local Government's branch of the Council, Comrade Kehinde Ademuyiwa , on behalf of the Council's Coordinator, Comrade Emmanuel Enitan Ojo, appreciated the state government for extending its hands of fellowship to the Youths in the State.

Ademuyiwa further explained that more items was solicited from a philanthropist in order to ensure the palliative reach its target audience. He also added that the food items was shared among all affiliated youth organizations of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Abeokuta North LG Branch, which includes Uniform Organizations, Faith and Community Based Organizations.
